It’s time for a positive change in Idaho education

Over the past several months I’ve assumed a ton about no matter whether I really should weigh in on the race for Superintendent of Community Instruction. In this day and age, it looks like a slippery slope to share ideas about campaigns and elections. We also listen to loud and apparent that we want to continue to be in our lane. Perfectly, I guess this is my lane. I’ve been an Idaho educator for 27 decades when serving in three various rural Idaho university districts as very well as performing as a deputy superintendent at the State Department of Instruction. I also served four a long time as a Gooding County Commissioner. Rural Idaho education is my wheelhouse and it is from that viewpoint that I voice my desire in seeing Debbie Critchfield elected as our future Point out Superintendent of Public Instruction.

I have known Debbie for over 15 yrs. We worked with each other on Idaho’s Dual Credit Undertaking Power whilst she was a university board member in Cassia County and I was at the Condition Department of Schooling. It was crystal clear even then how substantially she cared about Idaho’s children and generating possibilities and access for all pupils. As a rural educator, that is what I want for our learners in rural Idaho. They are worthy of entry and chance just like any other pupil. Debbie delivers the eyesight, the willingness to collaborate and truly pay attention, and the skill to advocate on our behalf and certainly be a chief.

It is time for a positive adjust in Idaho instruction and Debbie Critchfield is that alter. You should sign up for me in supporting Debbie on May possibly 17th.
